He spent a lot of money on developing this tank, and is trying to get publicity. He has hopes (dreams) of starting a sort of remote-tank war. He normally asks for 4$ to try his tank for 30 minutes, so he can keep his project funded. But I got to talking to him in the chatroom, and he said I could try it for free! There were connection problems though and the controls were really lagged. So I only got to move it around a little bit, i didn't get to shoot any lasers or paintballs (yes they are on the tank). I took as many screenshots as I could because I was having a blast. My favourite pic is the one of the tank in the mirror, it was hard work trying to get it in a good position. I JUST missed out on taking a picture of 'Magnus' giving the tank the thumbs up. I hope you all enjoy this. |

Spekkio: Doesn't your router allow you to shape the flow of data? Or no router? Sneak into the router's controls, and limit him to say... 14kBit *grins* I did that at a LAN party at my mate's place once and got sin-binned for it. But it was amusing. Imagine playing CS on 1996 internet speeds!

Wow! An actual tank on the internet! I mean, video+tank = obsolete war games, you can do reconaissance, i mean, this thing will revolutionise..... revolutionise heaps! Of course, wireless interference could be a problem, but it could rescue people, build things in remote locations (Moon bases anyone?), I mean.... *speechless*
