Given that the only good version of Quake belongs on the PC (remember, Q2 came to the N64), wouldn't that mean all consoles suck, period?

Probably not.. I think I'm just getting too old for these types of games. But I remember enjoying the first game more than this.

It plays quite well on console... I don't see the problem HL2 is an excellent console game.

sure thats a valid statement, but its SOOOOOOO much better on PC.
